Modern plots is a photographic and analogue collage series that reimagines classic and pop fairy tales through a contemporary lens. By grounding fantasy in realism, the work introduces disenchantment into traditionally magical narratives, using them to reflect the world as it exists today. Fairy tales and bedtime stories shape our collective imagination from childhood, yet they often remain detached from lived reality. This project confronts that distance by anchoring familiar stories in the real world, revealing alternative versions that are unsettling, intimate, and deliberately uncomfortable.
